Things to prepare before arriving

Email resume and passport photo.
Clarification of paperwork will be constantly monitored by our Vietnam office. Any daily changes in government policy will be notified by email.

What happens when you arrive

Over the past few months we have communicated on a regular basis and feels as though we know each other and trust each other on a professional level...

  1. H.j Consultancy staff will meet you at the airport with your inserted photo of sign.
  2. You will be taken to your accommodation. The address will be emailed to you before leaving Australia. The address may change due to circumstance beyond our control.
  3. Assistance in organising a SIM card for your phone
  4. Your paperwork will be processed at H.J SaiGon Consultancy office and then conformation of your interview with the school(s)
  5. Assistance in organising your observation classes (if the school requires)
  6. Assistance in organizing your demonstration classes (if the school requires)
  7. Practicum for 2 weeks (if the school requires)
  8. After your successful demonstration class your rate of pay will be advised by the management board of your school.
  9. Assistance in understanding your contract (if required)
  10. Signing of your contract at your new school
  11. Allocation of your teaching position by management of your new school.
  12. Being there for support and back-up from the school human resources department… professionally and culturally.

What schools require

  • Teacher of English as a native language.
  • An updated CV/resume.
  • Federal Police check.
  • Health check.
  • All original documents must be sighted.
  • All Transcripts and certifications.
  • Degree(s)/ Diploma(s).
  • 2x Current passport and visa.
  • Copy of passport photos.
  • B.A in another field, TESOL or CELTA and above documents.
